Bammie is a business-assistant service operated by Temi Technologies Ltd("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Nigeria. Bammie helps business owners keep records and understand their business through a chat assistant delivered over WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details you give us during sign-up — your name, email address, business name, and WhatsApp phone number.
• Messages you send to Bammie — the text, voice notes, and images (such as receipts or notebook photos) you share so we can record and answer questions about your business.
• Business records you create through Bammie — sales, expenses, debts, stock, customers, and notes.
• Technical data — basic logs needed to operate the service securely and reliably.

How we use your information

• To provide the service — recording your entries, answering your questions, and generating summaries, receipts, and reports.
• To process your messages using automated and AI systems so we can understand what you asked and respond accurately.
• To keep your account secure and improve the reliability and quality of the service.
• To contact you about your account or the service when necessary.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business records to advertise to you.

WhatsApp and Meta

Bammie is delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. When you message Bammie, your messages are transmitted through WhatsApp and are subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy. We receive the messages you send to our business number in order to provide the service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta.

Service providers we share data with

To run Bammie, we share limited data with trusted providers who process it only on our behalf:

• Meta / WhatsApp — to send and receive your messages.
• AI and speech providers — to understand your text and transcribe voice notes so Bammie can respond. Content is processed to generate a response and is not used by us to build advertising profiles.
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — to securely store your account and business records.

We require these providers to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

How we protect your data

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit access to only those who need it to operate the service.

Data retention

We keep your account and business records for as long as your account is active, so the service remains useful to you. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to comply with law.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the information we hold about you.
• Export a copy of your business records.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete your account and personal data.

Children

Bammie is intended for business owners aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
